The Youth Politics of the City of Sacile
through the Youth Project, presents the "SACILE
QUACK" permanent residential laboratory for innovative approaches
the world of comics.
The project is a space of experimentation for innovative
activation of pathways of self-productions, exhibitions, competitions.
The course is being proposed aims, through
the appropriateness of residential, to combine many fans of the comic book professionals
years are guaranteed
of "making comics" in Italy.
The course aimed at young people between 15 and 30 years, is open to
a maximum of 20 participants. Topics covered
1. theory: examination of the text, structure of table processing
patterns of reading images and text, the choice of the sign;
2. practice: construction of a MiniStore, one for each of
participants (everyone can write their own history, adapt
a story, write it with the teacher); design of the table,
techniques and materials;
3. verification: the work will be reviewed and corrected by the teacher
with the participants.

Francesco Frongia
Born in Cagliari in 1972 he graduated at the International School of Comics
of Florence during three years of comics. In 2004 he participated in an internship
entertainment at the "Estudios animacion de
of ICAIC (Institute of Cinematography in Cuba) Havana, Cuba '
assistant director of the International School of Comics in Florence
inking technique and teaches the course on comics and held to the same school
some workshops comics. He has edited for the Association
Culurale Double Shot several workshops: "8H Comics" for
rock festival "Italy Wave, Livorno in July 2009, a workshop for the festival of literature
applied" Marina Cafe Noir "of Cagliari and
workshop for the "Pisa Book Festival." He has done illustrations for the magazine and comics
"Free Night" , Cagliari; Illustrations for the book "A tribute to
Termite Bianca Victor Pavesio Publisher, designed and wrote a comic story
to the collective volume CinquantaxCento - Fifty
pencils for one hundred years of CGIL, Ediesse. He published comic stories for
Coniglio Editore, Rome, for the weekly level playing field, Totem
Editore, Rome, and the pulp magazine, published by Apache, Pavia
and has cooperated with the study "Inventory" by Giuseppe Palumbo, Bologna.
